The School

Little’s Pre Primary & Primary, is a State recognised school in Margao, Goa. We offer Playgroup, Nursery, Kindergarten and Primary schooling upto Grade IV at our uniquely designed campus in Fatorda. We specialise in Pre-Primary & Primary Education, have our own building and sports infrastructure to support classes till Grade IV. We follow the CBSE Board pattern.

The school is located in the heart of the city, just 5 minutes away from the Kadamba Bus Stand and less than a minute from Fatorda Stadium. This central location makes it convenient for parents to drop & pick up their wards to and from the school.

*The school provides transportation facilities for the convenience of the parents (T&C Apply). We welcome all children above two years and their parents in this journey of bringing out the best in every child.

Why Littles?

At Little’s there is a specific emphasis on ‘Learning’ rather than ‘Teaching’. Learning happens at an individual level & at a group level – both are actively encouraged at Little’s. Research indicates that a child learns through predominantly one of the many learning styles i.e. Visual (by seeing), Auditory (by hearing) or Kinesthetic (by touching & feeling through activity). We use different methodologies and various learning aids to ensure that the child learns in a manner that is suitable to its learning style in a fun environment.

We conduct Teachers’ Training on a regular basis by the best of Experts in Pre Primary & Primary Education, Child Development, Child Psychology etc. The teachers & coordinators are often sent to workshops at National & State level to enhance their knowledge. They are regularly evaluated & feedback is given to them to help them Bring out the best in every child.

Comprehensive & Continuos Evaluation

Little’s follows a method of Comprehensive & Continuous Evaluation of children. This method of evaluation goes beyond the pen S paper examination and helps the child develop continuously in both academic & non academic domains that include scholastic, co-scholastic areas, life skills etc.

Meet Our Dedicated Staff

Mrs. Tanuja Jaju

Principal

Mrs Tanuja jaju is a ‘hands on’ progressive and dynamic Principal leading the school successfully into the 21 st century. She is the founder Principal and established the school in a small flat with 3 students in 2000 with a desire to put her education to good use. The challenges and obstacles were immense, the road uphill and task enormous. Mrs Jaju is a product of an educated family and a highly enlightened environment. She has a masters degree in commerce from Delhi University and then a B.Ed.She has embedded herself into the very fabric of the school. Mrs Jaju has decades of experience in guiding, planning, administration and management of students and staff..Mrs jaju is a combination of head and heart. Approachable, witty possessing a sense of humour, willing to see the other side. She is a role model for many.

A true Educationalist her mantra is that learning never stops. She embodies this ethos as she continues to upgrade her skills by attending seminars and multiple education programmes. She is the recipient of Global Achievers Foundation Intellectual Achievement Award for education excellence in 2016.

Mr. Abhinav Jaju

Director

Abhinav belongs to the generation of millenials. Crisp in his ideas about education, and an enthusiast. He is the perfect support to the principal with his freshness. Even though he actively became a part of the school recently, he has seen the school grow over the past 20 years. Being a father of a 2 year old, he knows what the parents look for from a school.

He is an Industrial Engineer himself from Pune University. Later he pursued his MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management from Mumbai. He has represented South Goa District in both Chess and Table Tennis. Plays the guitar occasionally and sings too.

He shares his Mother’s dream of seeing Littles as the best Pre-Primary and Primary school in Goa. His current focus is to bring new age tools and techniques in education which includes digitization, thrust on extracurricular activities and inter school competitions. With an ever smiling face, he surely has a key role in shaping-up the future of the institution.
